Scott United Methodist Church

Welcome to Scott United Methodist Church of Pasadena
We are united in Christian Faith and Fellowship: Serving Our Community.
We believe in the life-changing power of God's love and grace and are passionate about sharing that message with the world. At the heart of our mission is creating a community that welcomes, supports, and uplifts one another, reflecting the love of Jesus Christ in everything we do.
We are dedicated to reaching out to those in need, making a difference, and shining a light in our community with a message of hope. Together, we live out John Wesley's three simple rules: “Do no harm. Do good. Stay in love with God."
Our goal is to make a tangible impact in the community that we serve.
We invite you to walk this journey of transformative and supernatural faith together, serving, loving, and growing in Jesus Christ each day!

Faith Readers Book Group is open to all persons who enjoy reading. It is a ministry that encourages readers to explore various types of writings, including fiction, nonfiction, and early church historical works. Through discussion, they think and write theologically. They develop the ability to articulate religious perspectives and apply scripture to their lives.
Our Story
Hello, amazing friends and followers!
Since 1903, Scott United Methodist Church has been a beacon of faith and community in Altadena and Pasadena. Affectionately known as "The Denas," our neighborhood is where our church has grown, served, and stood for love, justice, and inclusion.
At Scott UMC, we’re passionate about creating a welcoming space for all—whether you're new to faith, returning, or seeking a deeper connection. Through dynamic worship, Bible-based teaching, and impactful ministries, we offer a place to belong, grow, and serve.
We are more than a church. We are a family rooted in Christ, committed to spiritual growth and community transformation.
Looking for a church home?
We’d love to welcome you to Scott UMC.
